Dear Colleagues, On behalf of the Scientific Organising Committee of the 2nd Biennial Conference of the International Society for Bipolar Disorders, it is my
pleasure to invite you to the meeting, which will be held from 2–4 August
2006 in Edinburgh, Scotland.
The conference will be held over 2½ days and we are planning a stimulating mix of high level science from a prestigious group of international speakers and updates on cutting edge research through plenary lectures, rapid communications, posters, workshops and an advocacy forum. The abstracts will be published as a supplement to Bipolar Disorders – an International Journal of Psychiatry and Neurosciences and papers and presentations can be presented for publication in the Bipolar Journal. We expect over 600 delegates and 150 papers. There is also limited space for sponsors’ satellite symposia. Edinburgh's fusion of fabled streets and historic buildings is contained within a vibrant modern city to provide the most inspirational of settings for a successful conference.
