Fees for Accompanying Persons include: invitations to social events and participation in two half-day tours scheduled to coincide with scientific sessions.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refund of registration fees will be made as follows:Airmail post-marked* before August 15, 1998 - full refund less US$40 handling fee
Airmail post-marked* from August 15, 1998 - September 15, 1998 - 50% refund
Airmail post-marked* September 16, 1998 - no refund

VISAS
For participants from most countries, a visa to Israel is not necessary, but we suggest that you check with your travel agent. For participants from countries without diplomatic relations with Israel, please write directly to the Secretariat, no later than SIX WEEKS prior to the Congress, giving the following details: full name, date and place of birth, passport number and date and place of issue and expiry date, flight details (arrival & departure date and flight number). The Secretariat will arrange for a visa to await you at Ben-Gurion International Airport.

CLIMATE
The weather in Tel Aviv in October is warm and sunny during the day and cool at night.
Temperatures range between 19 - 28 C.

CLOTHING
Informal for all occasions. Don't forget to pack a swimsuit and bring sunglasses, a hat and comfortable walking shoes as well as sunscreen protection creams.
