Travel GrantsNeuPSIG Travel Grants for Trainees and for Physicians from Developing Countries. Please note: Deadline for submission of Travel Grant
application forms
is Friday, April 13, 2007 NeuPSIG has provided financial support for trainees to participate in NeuPSIG scientific meetings since its inception. The Management Committee Meeting in London in 2006 reviewed the level of support that we would provide for trainees for the Second International Congress on Neuropathic Pain to be held in Berlin (7th-10th. of June 2007) and the NeuPSIG sponsored satellite meeting to be held in London prior to the 12th World Congress on Pain in Glasgow. The Management Committee has elected to provide enhanced levels of financial support for trainees to encourage attendance these meetings. NeuPSIG will provide financial support which can be considered to be composed of two levels - a highly subsidised registration fee of €50 (that will be available to all bona fide trainees) and a limited number of additional scholarships that will cover travel and accommodation. In addition, the Management Committee recognised that physicians in developing countries do face significant financial impediments to attend international meetings. Moreover, they could gain valuable insights and education from NeuPSIG sponsored scientific meetings that will ultimately help them better diagnose and treat neuropathic pain in patients under their care. Consequently, we have elected to do provide a limited number of scholarships (travel and accommodation) for physicians from developing countries Further information relating to all of these Scholarships and Application Forms can be found on the NeuPSIG web site at the following link http://www.neupsig.org/ |
