HOW TO BOOK
In order to benefit from the special congress rates, kindly
send the enclosed Accommodation Form with the required deposit by
AIRMAIL, FAX or E-mail at your earliest convenience. We strongly
advise all congress participants to reserve their hotel accommodation
as soon as possible or book
your hotel accommodation on line
Kenes International will not be able to guarantee rooms after March
30, 2004.
PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation, provided by Kenes International,
is payable (less deposit) before your arrival in Madrid.
Kenes International accepts Travelers' cheques and Euro cheques
(in the currency of the issuing country) Visa, Master Card, and
Diners Club credit cards.
CANCELLATION OF ACCOMMODATION
Cancellations must be received in writing.
- Up to 60 days prior to arrival - full refund less bank charges
- Less than 60 days and up to 30 days prior to arrival - 1 night
cancellation fee
- Less than 30 days and up to 7 days prior to arrival - 2 nights
cancellation fee
- Less than 7 days; and for non-show - full cancellation charges
IMPORTANT NOTES
Kenes International reserves the right to change the requested
hotels to those of a similar grade or better
Kenes International and their agents shall not be responsible for,
and shall be exempt from, all liability in respect of any loss,
damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person,
or his/her luggage or any other property, for any reason whatsoever,
for any tourist services provided.
Personal travel and health insurance is highly recommended.
Official check in time for all hotels is 16:00 hours and check
out time is 11:00 hours
TRAVEL INFORMATION FROM MADRID AIRPORT
- The Barajas Madrid Airport is located approximately 12 km from
the centre of Madrid, with 3 terminals. Terminal 1 is the largest
and is used for most of the international flights. Terminal 2
handles domestic Spanish flights and Iberia European, and Terminal
3 for Iberia domestic and regional shuttle services. Moving walkways
connect the terminals.
- Public transportation and taxis are available, with buses running
to the city centre. Rate for a private taxi is approximately Euro
15.
