Palacio Real & Museo Del Prado

Visit one of the most beautiful palaces in Europe - the Palacio Real, with some of the most elaborately decorated walls and ceilings imaginable. A few of the rooms will be visited, where a rich collection of tapestry, ceramics, clocks etc, can be viewed. Visit the main dining room that was used for festive functions, with its beautiful porcelain ornaments and the museum of silver.
Continue to the Museo Del Prado, an important Art Gallery, where paintings of Velazquez, Goya, El Greco, Ribera, Murillo and the famous Rafael Rubens can be seen. The museum houses the most important schools of paintings from the 15th to 19th century.

Tapas Tour Madrid

'Walking and Tapas' tours are meant to be an enjoyable introduction to the history, culture, food and wine of Madrid and Spain. Walk through the historic centre of Madrid (Madrid de los Austrias) and glimpse at the sights and learn about some of the history of the city.
Many visitors are overwhelmed by the different choices of food in Spain and don't know what to choose or alternatively think that Spanish food consists only of tortilla and paella! This tour will introduce the appreciation and love of Spanish food. The tour includes 3 stops for "tapas" and wine/beer.

Avila and Segovia

The city of Avila is the source of the Spanish mysticism, and is the birthplace of Santa Teresa, and famous for its treasures in art and traditions. View the medieval walls and its Cathedral, the first one Gothic style ever to have been built in Spain. Continue to the Convent of Santa Teresa for a visit.
Proceed to Segovia, an ancient Roman city, and rich in historical monuments. View the Aqueduct built during the reign of Augustus. The Gothic Cathedral and the Alcazar from the XI century are two of the most important monuments.

Toledo Tour

The city of Toledo is the capital of the Spanish province of the same name, and is one of Europe's most important and beautifully preserved medieval cities. Toledo nestles on a hilltop and is surrounded on three sides by a loop of the River Tagus.
"The Imperial Toledo" from being a Visigoth capital, became a Mudejar culture, (Moors who remained in Spain as vassals of the Christians, adapting themselves to their new situation but maintaining their Islamic culture and religion) under Arabian domination. Here Arabs, Christians and Jews lived in harmony. Toledo became an Imperial Capital during the reigning of Charles I. The whole town is a national monument, with its amazing cathedral from the XII century. The painter El Greco (XVI century) lived in Toledo, and several of his best works will be viewed during the visit. View the outstanding technique of "Damasquinado" that inlays precious metals into steel. The tour will include a visit to Alcazar with its halls of Battles, Aljibes, Refugee Infirmary, Crypt, and Miss Blanca of Borbon's Prison
