WELCOME

Following our successful satellite meeting in Uluru in 2005, the Neuropathic Pain Special Interest Group of the International Association for the Study of Pain will again be holding a satellite symposium prior to the 12th World Congress on Pain in 2008. This satellite symposium will be held at the Royal Society of Medicine in London, UK from Wednesday, August 13 to Friday, August 15, 2008   

Plenary sessions will be the backbone of the meeting and will cover a range of important and topical subjects with presentations by an international array of leading experts.

We also warmly welcome abstract submissions for free presentations from trainees and attendees from the developing world. We will give presenters the choice of poster or oral presentations.  Free presentations of either clinical or laboratory research will be accepted.

We look forward to welcoming you to this NeuPSIG Satellite in the vibrant and cosmopolitan city of London in August, 2008.
