Prague Orientation City Tour 9:00 - 13:00

A general overview of the "Golden City", including short walks and visits to historic sites. The tour includes the Prague Castle - The Royal Palace, the seat of the kings of Bohemia with Vladislav Hall, St. Vitus Metropolitan Cathedral from the 14th century, St. George's Basilica and Golden Lane (whose famous past inhabitants include the writer Franz Kafka). The tour will continue to the Old Town Square where you will see the Old Town Hall with the fifteenth-century Astronomic Clock and the Church of Our Lady of Tyn.

Krivoklat Castle 9:00 - 13:00

This half-day tour will take you to Krivoklat Castle, one of the oldest and most famous castles built in the 12th century. This was the residence of Pemysl Otakar II, V-clav IV and Vladislav Jagellonsk. Later the castle was rebuilt into a much feared prison. You will see the wonderful castle chapel, royal and knight hall with an exhibition of Gothic paintings and sculpture, art, the library with 55,000 books, the prison with its torture equipment, a monumental tower with hunting collections and many other features. There will be a short walk with a nice view of the surrounding countryside.
