Kenes Tours is the official travel agent of the 4th International Conference on Postharvest Science to be held in Jerusalem from March 26 - 31, 2000, and will be offering specially reduced rates for accommodation and Conference tours.
Accommodation is available at the following hotels in Jerusalem:

HOW TO BOOK
In order to benefit from the special Conference rates, kindly send the enclosed Accommodation Form with the required deposit by AIRMAIL or FAX at your earliest convenience. We strongly advise all Conference participants to reserve their hotel accommodation as soon as possible. Kenes Tours are unable to guarantee rooms after March 1, 2000.

PAYMENT
Payment for accommodation, tours and other services provided by Kenes Tours is payable (less deposit) before your arrival in Israel.
Kenes Tours accept Travelers' cheques and Eurocheques (in the currency of the issuing country), Visa, MasterCard, and Diners Club credit cards. Payment in Israeli currency is subject to Value Added Tax (17% based on 1999 figures).
Participants wishing to pay in their own local currency can do so via Western Union Quick Pay. A Western Union blue "quick pay" form must be completed with the following information:

Western Union will forward this payment to Kenes Tours directly.

TOURING
Tours throughout Israel will be offered at the Kenes Tours Hospitality Desk, to give participants an opportunity to explore the country. For details of pre- and post-conference tours please see relevant section

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Participants requiring single rooms will be accommodated in double rooms for single occupancy.
• Kenes Tours reserves the right to change the requested hotels to those of a similar grade or better, if they are unable to confirm those described in the brochure.
• Kenes Tours shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from, all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person, or his/her luggage or any other property, for any reason whatsoever, for any tourist services provided.
• Personal travel and health insurance is highly recommended.
• Official check-in time for hotels is 14.00 and check-out time is noon.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Refund of Hotel Accommodation fees will be made as follows:
Up to 90 days prior to arrival - full refund less bank charges
Up to 45 days prior to arrival - full refund (less US$ 50 handling fee)
Up to 30 days or less prior to arrival - full refund less paid deposit
15 days or less prior to arrival - 50% of hotel accommodation will be charged. Remainder of money collected by Kenes will be refunded.

AIRPORT ASSISTANCE
Kenes Tours will operate a Welcome Service inside the Arrivals Terminal Hall of Ben-Gurion International Airport on Sunday, March 26, 2000. All participants arriving on this date, who have advised Kenes Tours of their flight details will be met and assisted at Ben-Gurion International Airport. Participants who have reserved a transfer are requested to contact Kenes' representative at the Arrival Hall, upon entering the luggage claims area.
Arrival transfers from Ben-Gurion International Airport to Conference hotels can be arranged on any day at an additional cost of US$ 30 per person.
Departure transfer from hotels in Jerusalem can be arranged at an additional cost of US$ 30 per person. Please forward exact arrival and departure flight details for transfer arrangements no later than March 1, 2000.
