Prediabetes and the Metabolic Syndrome are highly prevalent conditions, affecting between one in six and one in three adults in most developed countries, as well as the urban areas of many developing countries.

The 3rd International Congress on Prediabetes and the Metabolic Syndrome will provide a platform for both doctors and pharmaceutical companies to present their studies and the many new developments in prevention of diabetes and CVD.

Best Abstract Prizes
Prizes will be awarded for the following 3 categories:
1. Best oral presentation
2. Best poster - clinical/epidemiological
3. Best poster - basic science
