Personal Insurance
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance
for their trip.
Climate
The weather in Barcelona in April is cool and pleasant. Rainfall may be expected,
so it is advisable to carry an umbrella. Temperatures range from 11Co -
18Co.
Clothing
Informal for all occasions. Please bring an umbrella, sunglasses and walking
shoes.
Airport Information and Travel to Barcelona
The airport is located about 10 km in the south of Barcelona. It can easily
be reached by taxi, bus or train.

By taxi - the fare is around €25 euros and the journey takes
around 25 - 30 mins (depending on traffic). |

By bus- (shuttle bus service) - Express bus service that runs regularly
between the airport and the city centre. Cost: €3.60 for a single
ticket. It takes about 25 -30 minutes (depending on traffic). |

By train - the RENFE train will take you from Barcelona airport
to the city centre where you can change for the metro system at either
Barcelona Sants or Catalunya stations. Tickets: €2.40. Journey time
is about 25 minutes. |
Public Transport Travel Ticket
All registered participants will be provided on the first day of registration with a travel card. This card is valid for the duration of the Congress for unlimited rides on public transport (Underground, buses, tram, FGC, Renfe)

Barcelona offers an efficient and modern public transport network which operates as per the following hours:
