PRESS RULES |

Members of the press must register for the congress. They will receive a press badge. |
|
Members of the press may attend the congress lectures on a complimentary basis. |
|
A press room will be available. |
|
Press releases by companies must be received for approval no later than 15 days before the beginning of the congress. |
|
Companies may place their press releases in the press room. |
|
Embargo policy: Companies may not place a press release prior to discussion of the relevant topic / product in the satellite symposium and/or oral or poster session |

PRESS ROOM |
A press room with telephone, fax and on-line access is available to registered journalists. Journalists must register at the Registration Desk. The press room is located on the 2nd Floor of the Palacio de Congresos de Cataluņa.
Press room hours:
Wednesday, April 25: 12:00-17:00
Thursday, April 26: 09:00-17:00
Friday, April 27: 09:00-17:00
Saturday, April 28: 09:00-12:00

IDF LAUNCH AND PRESS BRIEFING |
A press briefing to launch the 2007 IDF Consensus Statement on the Prevention of Type 2 Diabetes will take place on Thursday, April 26, 12:30 - 14:00 in Hall H, Palacio de Congresos de Cataluņa, Barcelona. This is open to members of the press only.
