DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: February 10, 2000
1. The entire abstract including title,
author(s), institution(s), country and acknowledgments, must fit within the
rectangle (18 cm height X 13 cm width).
2. The abstract should be as informative as
possible:
a) state specific objective of study; b) state method used, if pertinent; c)
summarize results obtained; d) state conclusions reached. It is not adequate to
state: "The results will be discussed."
3. Type carefully, on an electric typewriter or
word processor, and cut and paste the document into the blue frame. A dot-matrix
printout is NOT acceptable.
4. Standard abbreviations may be used.
5. It is possible to use graphics and charts within
the abstract. No endnotes, footnotes nor frames are acceptable.
6. Because the abstract will be reproduced in the
Book of Abstracts exactly as submitted, your abstract should be camera-ready.
Therefore avoid corrections, smudges, errors and misspellings. Abstracts which
are unsuitable for reproduction will be retyped by the Secretariat at a cost of
US$25 to the presenting author.
7. All accepted abstracts will be printed in the
Book of Abstracts that is to be distributed at the CONGRESS.
8. Registration form and fees should be enclosed.
9. Please AIRMAIL your abstract together with three
photocopies to:
