LETTER FROM THE CHAIRMAN Dear Colleague,
On behalf of the European Strabismological Association, I take great pleasure in inviting
you to participate in the 25th ESA Meeting which will take place from September 26-29,
1999 in Jerusalem, Israel. The meeting will deal with the various disciplines of
strabismus, with special emphasis on new developments in basic research, emblyopia and
surgery.
In addition to the scientific sessions, a full program of social events will be arranged.
Accompanying persons will be invited to the Meeting's social activities and a program of
tours will be centered around Jerusalem and its vicinity. Optional tours will be available
before and after the Meeting to a variety of sites in Israel, including Eilat, the Red
Sea, the ancient cities of Caesarea, Acre and Beit Shean, the Galilee and historical sites
on the sea of Galilee. A Post-Meeting tour to Jordan will also be offered.
We hope to see you among the participants.
