SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Sponsorship packages and exhibition opportunities can viewed in
the Invitation to Industry which can be downloaded
here.
Categories of Sponsorship
Depending on the total amount of the sponsorship and exhibition
space, sponsoring companies will be referred to as:
- Principal (Platinum) Sponsor for a contribution of US$275,000
and over
- Major (Gold) Sponsor for a contribution of US$200,000 and over
- Silver Sponsor for a contribution of US$100,000 and over
- Sponsor for a contribution between US$0 and $100,000
Sponsors will receive benefits as follows:
- Priority on exhibition area selection. The area will have to
be confirmed, and the deposit paid no later than 1 month after
the signature of the relevant sponsorship commitment.
- A Sponsors logo will appear on the Congress Website. Platinum
and Gold Sponsors will receive a hyperlink form this logo to a
website of their choice.
- Priority on hotel and block selections.
- An advance delegate list on labels (one month before the congress)
at production cost. (For Platinum Gold Sponsors only)
- A final delegate list on labels (one month after the congress)
at production cost (for Gold and Silver Sponsors only)
- A right to use the Congress logo (following supplied guidelines)
- Complimentary full registrations:
- 10 for a Platinum Sponsor
- 6 for a Gold Sponsor
- 3 for a Silver Sponsor
- A possibility to place an insert or Satellite Invitation in
the delegate bags.
- Acknowledgement on Sponsor boards on-site
- A printed Acknowledgement in categories in following documents
- Call for Papers
- Final program
- Abstract book
- Company Logo with hyperlink on the Congress Website

Satellite Symposia - $50,000 - SLOTS STILL AVAILABLE
- Symposium session up to 90 minutes long.
- Hall rental
- Standard audio/visual equipment
- Display table.
- Catering must be provided by the sponsoring company
- Permission to use the phrase "Official Satellite
Symposium of ISS 2004"
- Inclusion of Sponsor's Symposium invitation in the participant
congress bags
- Symposia Programs will be included in a special section
of the Final Program
* The day and time slots of the symposium will be allocated
on a first come first serve basis in order of sponsorship
status
* The sponsoring company selects speakers and topics. The
sponsoring company must cover speaker's registration fees,
accommodation and flights.
* Special time slots have been designated and will be allocated
on a first come first serve basis.
* All Satellite Symposia programs must be submitted for approval
to the Scientific Committee

Educational Grant in Support of Official Congress Symposia
- $20,000
Integrated symposia are scientific congress symposia accepted
or invited by the Scientific Committee and supported by a
grant from industry.
- Sponsor's support will be acknowledged in the Final Program
alongside the session information as "Sponsored by"

Meet The Expert Sessions - $10,000
An expert chosen by the sponsoring company discusses
a product to a small audience of participants (up to 100).
The sponsor will be responsible for the expert's costs and
any catering for the participants
- Opportunity to brand the meeting room
- Opportunity to place an invitation in the participants

- Meet the expert sessions will be included in the final
program timetable

Speakers Ready Room - $10,000
Facilities will be available at the congress centre for
speakers and abstract presenters to check their presentations.
- The sponsor's name/or company logo will appear on signage
of this room

CD ROM - SOLD
The cd-rom will contain all the 2004 Congress Abstracts.
Distributed to all participants from the Sponsor's exhibition
booth. An exchange voucher (printed by the sponsor) will be
placed in the congress bags.

logo and will be distributed in the Congress bags to participants
in Vancouver

Sponsor will provide 10 workstations and technical
assistance in the set up of the Cyber Centre
- Opportunity to display company logo/information
on screen saver
