BADGE
On registering you will receive your Congress kit in which you will find your name badge. You are kindly requested to wear your badge during all Congress sessions and events.

Saturday, June 26 09:00 - 17:30

LANGUAGE
English is the official language of the Congress.

COFFEE BREAKS
Coffee and tea will be served in the exhibition and poster hall during coffee breaks.

LUNCH BREAKS
Light lunch will be available for sale in the exhibition and poster hall.

BREAKFAST SESSIONS
Breakfast sessions are planned on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. For details please check the Scientific Program. Pre-registration is required for all breakfast sessions. If you have not pre registered yet, please do so at the Registration desk. Breakfast on Thursday, June 24 and Saturday, June 26 is sponsored by ONO.

POSTERS
All posters are located in the poster section in the exhibition hall.

Posters will be on display for one day, either on Thursday, June 24 or Friday, June 25. Your poster should be displayed as per the date and number in the Program. Posters are to be mounted from 08:00 to 09:00 on your assigned day. Please remove your poster at the conclusion of sessions on that day. The Organizing Committee will not be responsible for posters that are not removed on time.

Authors are required to stand by their posters during the poster session for which their poster has been scheduled.

Poster boards are sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.

PRIZES
Two prizes for Best Poster will be awarded on June 26. These prizes are sponsored by Pfizer.

COURSES
Most of the Courses will take place on Wednesday, June 23. Course C07 will take place on Friday, June 25.

Please present your Course ticket at the entrance of the appropriate hall. Registration for the Courses should be arranged prior to the start of the course, at the Registration Desk situated in the Vancouver Convention and Exhibition Centre. Registration will be open for course participants only on Wednesday, June 23 from 08:00-10:00.

INTERNET CAFÉ
An Internet Café kindly sponsored by for participants use will be available during exhibition hours.

CERTIFICATE OF ATTENDANCE
The Certificate of Attendance is included in your participant kit.

CLIMATE
The weather in Vancouver in June is mild and pleasant. Temperatures range from 11 °C - 19°C. Rain is possible.

ABSTRACTS
All accepted abstracts will be printed in the congress abstract book which will be distributed on site.
In addition, the electronic version of the abstracts will be published by STROKE.

EXHIBITION
In conjunction with the Congress a commercial exhibition will be arranged. Companies and organizations working in stroke and related fields are invited to present their products, services or literature. Companies interested in participating in the exhibition may request further information from:

CLOTHING
Informal for all occasions; please bring sunglasses and walking shoes.

PERSONAL INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
