English is the official language of the Congress.
SCHOLARSHIP FOR YOUNG PHYSICIANS
Young physicians aged 35 or less by October 1, 2006 may apply to receive a
scholarship consisting of Registration Fees for the congress and 3 nights
accommodation (sharing with another scholarship recipient) in a 3 star hotel.
Applicants must have an abstract accepted by the scientific committee and
be a resident of a country as per list B.
Applicants receiving accommodation and registration support from any other
source will not be eligible.
Deadline for application: June 15, 2006
PERSONAL INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants take out a personal travel
and health insurance for their trip.
CLIMATE
The weather in Cape Town in October is warm and pleasant.
Temperatures range from 15°C - 24°C.
CLOTHING
Informal for all occasions; please bring sunglasses and walking
shoes.

Please be advised that all visitors to South Africa are required to have one full empty page in their passport. If you do not have one full empty page in your passport you will be denied entry. We highly recommend that all visitors contact their local South African Embassy to receive further details about visa regulations.
