Tour 1: FULL DAY - BOSPHORUS AND ASIA TOUR
Departure from the hotel and drive to the pier. Cruise along the
Bosphorus, the most picturesque strait between the two continents of Europe and
Asia. Disembark at Asian side. Lunch at Has'r Koru Beykoz Restaurant, located on
the Asiatic Hill in the centre of a wood, in nature with visual taste and
tranquillity. After lunch visit the summer palace of Ottoman Sultans - the
Beylerbeyi Palace Museum situated on the Asiatic Shore of the Bosphorus.

Tour 2: FULL DAY -OTTOMAN AND BYZANTINE RELICS
Drive to the old city to visit the Hippodrome - the centre of civil activities
of Constantinople, the Blue Mosque - unique in the Islamic world, with six
minarets and the blue tiles striking both for their colour and the immense area
over which they are displayed; and St. Sophia Museum - reconstructed in 532 AD
by the Emperor Justinian, which stands as a magnificent example of architecture.
Lunch at Konyali Restaurant on the ground of the Topkapi Palace. After lunch
visit the world famous Topkapi Palace Museum which housed the Sultans and their
exotic entourages in its countless rooms and corridors for nearly four
centuries; and shopping possibilities at Grand Covered Bazaar

Tour 3: HALF DAY - BOSPHORUS CRUISE
Transportation will be provided to the pier to embark on a private boat for a

Pick up from the hotels and transfer to the airport.. Flight to Ankara. Arrival
at Ankara Esenboga Airport
City tour of Ankara - the capital of Turkey. Visit of Anatolian Civilisations
Museum with its priceless collection of Paleolithic, Neolitic, Hatti and Hitite
works. After lunch at Ankara depart for Cappadocia.
Drive to Nevgehir. En route visit to Agizkarahan Caravanserail - one of the
historical caravanserails on the "Silk Road" and the Valleys of Goreme,
the monastic complex of rock churches and chapels covered with frescoes.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cappadocia.
MONDAY, MARCH 19, 2001 - CAPPADOCIA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Full day tour of Cappadocia including Goreme, the Valleys of Goreme, the
monastic complex of rock churches and chapels covered with frescoes; Avanos,
which is popular with it's carpet weaving, viniculture and pottery-making
workshops; Zelve, the valley with fairy chimneys; Ortahisar and Uchisar
Fortresses, Church of Cavusin, decorated with frescos belonging to the 11th
century.
Lunch will be served during the tour in a typical restaurant.
Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
TUESDAY, MARCH 20, 2001 - CAPPADOCIA / KAYSERI / ISTANBUL
Breakfast at the hotel. Check-out from the hotel.
Visit underground cities of Derinkuyu or Kaymakli, used by the Christians of the
7th century as a place of retreat to live in until the danger has passed.
Lunch served in a typical restaurant. End of tour at Kayseri airport - flight to
Istanbul.

Departure from hotel by bus for a full day excursion:
Ephesus - the Roman capital of the province of Asia Minor, accepted as the best
preserved sample of antiquity, with splendid monuments like the Theatre, the
Harbour Street, Library Celsus, Agora, Temple of Hadrian, Temple of Serapis -
The House of Virgin Mary - where she spent her last days - and the Basilica of
St. John.
Lunch at one of the sea-side tavernas in Kusadasi-one of the major holiday
destinations in Turkey set in a superb gulf and known for its sparkling water,
broad sandy beaches and large marina. Visit local shopping centers. Return to
Izmir.
Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

Side - an ancient harbour whose name meant "pomegranate" and today is
a pretty resort town, famous for Cleopatra's and Marc Anthony's meeting for
their romantic tryst. Lunch at one of the sea side tavernas in Side. Late
afternoon return to the hotels. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel
MONDAY, MARCH 19, 2001 - ANTALYA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure by buses for a full day excursion starting
with a siteseeing tour of the city including: the Antalya Archaeological Museum
- where one feels like having a walk through the history amongst the remains
from the Paleolithic Age to Ottoman times; the beautifully decorated three
arched Hadrian's Gade - built in the honour of Hadrian, in 130 A.D.; and the
prize winning picturesque Old Harbour of Antalya. Lunch and afternoon at leisure
or self exploration. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

ISTANBUL/ IZMIR ( EPHESUS and KUSADASI ) / ISTANBUL
Early flight to Izmir and departure for Ephesus. Visit the Shrine of Virgin
Mary where supposedly she spent her last days. Proceed to Ephesus and see the
spectacular ruins from the period of St. Paul, some of which are only recently
excavated. See Odeon Bouleterion, Fountains, Temples, Brothel, Library, Great
Theatre and Gymnasium, Double Church, Stadium. Lunch at typical local restaurant
.
After lunch visit the St.John's Basilica and his tomb, Temple of Diana (one of
the seven wonders of the ancient world). At the end of the tour departure to
Istanbul by plane. Arrival and transfer to the hotels.
