CNBC will broadcast live and taped coverage from Telecom Israel 2006
CNBC, the world leader in TV business news and financial information, will be broadcasting its “Israel Week" special between November 6th and 10th.
Mr. Dan McClean, CNBC’s Commercial Director, recently spent several days in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, meeting leading public and commercial entities.
“Israel is often associated in the media with violence. The truth is very different,” commented McClean. “Israel has one of the fastest growing economies in the West. Inward investment has been continuously forceful. There is a commercial story here, which needs to be told.”
McClean explained that “Israel Week” will be based around the Telecom Exhibition, taking place in November 2006 in Tel Aviv. The coverage of the event will include interviews with Telecom industry senior executives, live coverage of the exhibition and taped editorials about the Israeli industry.
