Jerusalem - spiritual center of three great religions and a city of magnificent sites, is situated at the crossroads of Africa, Asia and Europe. Jerusalem is the source of profound intellectual and emotional inspiration, both in prayer and pilgrimage. Today, Jerusalem is a city with a unique blend of historic vistas, sacred sites and contemporary architecture. Rich
in archeology and culture, natural beauty and with an ideal Mediterranean climate, Jerusalem is a perfect place to combine science with travel.
A varied and exciting program of social events and tours has also been drawn up for conference participants and accompanying persons. Visit the Old City of Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Massada and the Sea of Galilee, or take the opportunity to visit the lowest point on earth and bathe in the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea! Those with yet a larger appetite can chose to visit neighboring Jordan. The possibilities are endless!
We look forward to welcoming you to Jerusalem in 1999 for an unforgettable experience.

Sincerely

Dan Michaeli
Chairman, Executive Committee
