We are pleased to invite you to participate in an International Educational and State of the Art Seminar: Frontiers in Thrombosis and Haemostasis, to be held February 18 - 20, 2004.

The topics included in the seminar cover some of the exciting developments in our discipline of Thrombosis and Haemostasis. I am delighted that distinguished Scientists, all of whom well known to you, accepted my invitation to share with us their latest data and provide us with State of the Art reviews of their particular subjects.

For me and my associates, the Seminar will mark a festive event, the inauguration of the Amalia Biron Research Institute of Thrombosis and Haemostasis of the Tel Aviv University at the Chaim Sheba Medical Center.

The venue for the Seminar is Tel Aviv, Israel's largest city and biggest commercial center. It is a busy metropolis, which inspires its visitors with a unique energetic atmosphere of excitement and fun. Visible from a distance with its seafront skyscrapers and exclusive hotels, Tel Aviv presents a lively combination of entertainment venues, shopping malls, exotic markets, nonstop active nightlife, gorgeous golden beaches and wonderful restaurants of all kinds. It is also the country's greatest cultural center, a home for a variety of museums, galleries, theatres and concert halls. The site of the meeting, the Dan Panorama Hotel, is right on the beachfront of Tel Aviv.
