English is the official language of the Congress.
PERSONAL INSURANCE
We recommend that all participants take out personal travel and health insurance for their trip.
CLOTHING
Informal for all occasions. Please bring an umbrella, sunglasses and walking shoes.
CLIMATE
The weather in Budapest in November is cool. Temperatures range from 2°C - 8°C.
CURRENCY
The Forint (HUF), the official national currency, is convertible. The exchange rates applied in Budapest
banks, official exchange offices and hotels may vary. All the major credit cards are accepted in Hungary
in
places displaying the emblem at the entrance.
AIRPORT INFORMATION AND TRAVEL TO BUDAPEST
Budapest Ferihegy International Airport is served by many daily direct flights from most destinations in
Europe. The International airport is 20-30 minutes from the city and private taxis are available 24 hours
a
day. Approximate cost is €22 per taxi to the city centre
CONGRESS HANDOUTS AND NAME TAGS
Upon registration, you will receive your personal envelope containing a name tag and invitations for
social
events. You are kindly requested to wear your name tag to all functions and during the sessions.
EUROPEWIDE ACCREDITATION OF THE CONGRESS
The Congress has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) for a maximum of, or up to 21 European CME credits (ECMEC’s). The European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS): www.uems.net.
VISA
Most Europeans do not require an entry visa for Hungary. Please consult the Hungarian Embassy or
Consulate nearest to you for specific details relating to Visas or alternatively you can visit the website
of the
Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: www.mfa.gov.hu.
LIABILITY
The organizer is not able to take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons
and
property during the meeting. Sponsors, Exhibitors and all participants are advised to take out their
own
personal insurance.
EXHIBITION
A professional exhibition will be held concurrently with the Congress.
