The Second International Congress on Vascular Dementia was forced, due to the tragic events of September 11 2001, to move its location and dates only two weeks before the original opening date of October 4-7, 2001. The new dates and location (Salzburg, Austria, January 2002) proved to be a Hugh success with a turn over of more then 600 participants from 44 countries.
