A/V FOR ORAL PRESENTATIONS AND SPEAKERS' READY ROOM
Speakers' ready stations, inside the Exhibition hall, will be
provided for speakers and will be available every day 30 minutes prior
to sessions. Please note that you can check your powerpoint presentation
there, but you have to download it onto the Symposium laptop computer
in the same session hall as your lecture.
Audiovisual Equipment
1. If using a Powerpoint (or any other computer) presentation,
please bring your presentation on a floppy disk (3.5"/1.44 MB), on
a CD or on a "disk on key/USB", to the session hall where your
lecture is taking place during the coffee or lunch break the hall.
Please note that the symposium computers in the session halls are being
supplied with Windows XP and Office XP (at least).
If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to supply
your own, confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal and come
to check it in the session hall where your lecture is taking place during
the coffee or lunch break prior to your session, at least 30 minutes before
the start of the session.
2. Video Presentation will be available for those who have pre-ordered
it (VHS multi-system format only). If you need to use a video for your
presentation, please advise us by e-mail or fax, no later than January
1, 2005.
3. Overhead projection (projection of transparencies) will be
available for those who have pre-ordered it. Please advise us by e-mail
or fax, no later than January 1, 2005.
Please bring your presentation to the session hall where your lecture
is taking place during the coffee or lunch break prior to your session.
Please note that slide projection will not be available.
