Deadline for Submission of Abstracts: July 1st, 2005
Abstracts must be submitted via this website - click here for the abstract form.
Please follow the instructions listed in the form
step-by-step.
Only the abstracts of registered presenting authors will be included
in the final program and book of abstracts.
If you are unable to submit abstracts via the website, please contact
the Secretariat.
- Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance for the abstract
to be published in the official Meeting Abstract Book.
- Authors presenting abstracts must be registered participants.
- Abstracts must be original and must not be or have been published
or presented at any other meeting prior to the 4th World Congress of
the Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases - WSPID 2005.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- The Local Scientific Committee will determine whether the abstract will
be accepted as oral or poster presentation, with consideration to be
given to the author's preference.
ABSTRACT PREPARATION
- Title of abstract must be in upper and lower case.
- Author(s) names must be in upper and lower case (e.g. JJC
Smith)
- Abstracts should contain no more than 250 words, including
acknowledgements. (Abstracts exceeding this limit will not be included
for print).
- Abstracts should clearly state:
Background and aims
Methods
Results
Conclusions
- Abstracts stating: "data will be discussed in the presentation"
will NOT be accepted.
Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations
in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears.
