WARSAW HIGHLIGHTS

We invite you to visit to the Old Town , Warsaw ’s prime attraction, registered on the World List of Cultural and National Heritage of UNESCO. This tour includes the Main Market Square and the Royal Castle . The Old Town Market Square vibrates with life at any time of day or night. Here in the open air, you can listen to both professional and amateur musicians, watch performances of theatrical groups, and admire the works of street artists. Romantic alleys and defensive walls, the Old Town streets leading to the Vistula River welcomes walkers. The Royal Castle is one of the foremost elements of the reconstructed Old Town complex. This unique post-war architectural reconstruction was honoured by the registering of the Castle in UNESCO’s World Cultural Heritage List. In Castle Square you can admire Warsaw ’s most characteristic and oldest (erected in 1644) secular monument – Sigismund’s Column. The walk will enchant you with the atmosphere of various palaces, churches, bourgeois houses, governmental buildings, and the greenery of historic parks.

WILANOW ROYAL PALACE

The tour will take you to the interiors of the Wilanow Royal Palace , a beautiful baroque residence, which was erected in the late 17 th century for King John III Sobieski. The palace is remarkable for its original architecture – a blend of European art with the Old-Polish building tradition, which combined with classical symbols conveys a great sense of royal grandeur and speaks to the testimony of the king's triumphs. In the Royal chambers you will admire the collection of the 16 th – 19 th century Polish and European paintings as well as the many antique sculptures. You will also enjoy the beautiful park and gardens surrounding the palace.
