Personal Envelope and Meeting Bag
Please approach the registration desk upon arrival in Warsaw in order to receive your kit containing the final program, book of abstracts and other useful information. Please remember to wear your badge to all sessions and events.

Meet the Professor Workshops
Meet the Professor Workshops will be held from Friday, September 2 – Sunday, September 4, between 07:30 – 08:30. Participation is included in the registration fee, however, pre-registration is necessary. Please contact the Registration Desk for an entry pass. Participation is limited to 85-120 participants (depending on the session) and will be on a “first come, first served” basis. Only participants holding an entry pass will be able to participate in the session. For further information regarding the Meet the Professor Workshops, please refer to the Scientific Program.

Poster Presentations
Posters will be presented during the duration of the Congress.
Poster presenters should refer to the list of poster presentations in the final program for their board numbers.
Posters need to be mounted on Thursday, September 1st from 08:00 – 10:00 and taken down by Saturday, September 3rd from 17:15-20:00.
Poster presenters are requested to be present at their designated poster board(s) during coffee and lunch breaks, as well as the allocated poster viewing time for informal discussions.

Clothing
Clothing is informal for all occasions.

Climate
The weather in Warsaw in September is mild and pleasant. Average temperatures vary between 16°C - 20°C.

Airport Arrival Information
A shuttle bus service from Warsaw Airport to the official congress hotels will be arranged for registered WSPID 2005 participants who have paid in advance. Booking the shuttle service upon arrival at Warsaw Airport will be possible only on seat availability. The service will operate on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 and Thursday, September 1, 2005 at designated hours throughout the day. Transfers will be arranged by bus, minivan or minibus according to the number of participants per transfer.
The shuttle service will cost € 11 per person and in order to make use of this service, participants will be required to pay and provide their flight details no later than July 31, 2005.
Timetable for the shuttle service and further details will be published on this website at a later date.
Private transportation will be available upon request from the secretariat as follows:
By private car - € 30 per car (maximum 2 pax)
By Mercedes s-class - € 40 per car (maximum 2 pax)

Visa
Some participants may require visas in order to enter Poland. Please check with your local Polish Consulate or Embassy.

Letter of invitation
Official letters of invitation designed to help overcome administrative difficulties in certain countries will be posted on the congress website for participants' use. This invitation is meant only to help visitors to raise travel funds or to obtain a visa, and is not a commitment on the part of the organizers to provide any financial support.

Liability & Insurance
The WSPID Society and/or Kenes International will not take any responsibility whatsoever for injury or damage involving persons and property during the congress. Participants are advised to take out their own personal insurance.

Exhibition
An exhibition by pharmaceutical and vaccine companies and bookshops will take place within the framework of the congress. The exhibition area will be conveniently situated in close proximity to the session halls, poster display area and the coffee stations. Participants will be encouraged to visit and interact with exhibitors especially during coffee/lunch breaks, and poster viewing.
